Creating my paintings is a passion that comes from within and flows onto my canvas. I work with oils, acrylics and texture compounds and absolutely adore vibrant colors!
I studied medical science in college and while working as a Medical Assistant in a private practice furthered my education earning my Certification. My husband and I operated an electrical distributorship prior to moving to Fountain Hills, Arizona where I re-entered the medical field.
Several years ago I had a near-death experience and emerged with heightened senses, vision and deeper understandings. During my recovery I began painting murals on my courtyard walls discovering the healing power of art. I have taken art classes academically, as well as with several artists who I admire.
I have been affiliated with Johnson & Johnson “Strength For Caring” program as a contributing writer and also a contributing artist with “The Smile Project” in Poland, Xanadu Studios in Scottsdale, Arizona, Graffia Gallery in Spring Lake, Michigan and with charitable donations of art to 'The Phoenix Herpeological Society' Scottsdale, Arizona.
My artwork can be seen through my virtual gallery website ~ www.amytuso.com, Xanadu Studios, Daily Painters Abstract Gallery, Contemporary Fine Art International, Daily Painters of Arizona, as well as in American Art Collector magazine.
It is my intention that when a collector views my original artwork they experience both visual and tactile joy as I encourage tracing the textures with a light touch of my new “Please Touch Series”.
I believe art has healing properties…both in creating it and viewing it. I paint daily and if I am not painting…I am contemplating my next favorite painting!

“Amy Tuso is a fellow artist who is tenacious in producing and finding exposure for her art works, which is virtuous in a difficult business. She produces timely, high quality art work, is independent in her thinking, has great follow through, and manages her time in an organized manner. Amy is supportive of others in the art field, as well as being a good team player. She has original ideas and her own unique art vision, being satisfied with her individual style of art, not taking from others' visions, which is a high compliment in this aspect of the art world.” July 19, 2010

“This letter is my personal recommendation for Amy Tuso. I have been fortunate to work with Amy for several years. I find her to be consistently pleasant, tackling all that comes her way with dedication and a smile. Besides being a joy to work with, Amy is a take-charge person who is able to present creative ideas and communicate the benefits. She has successfully developed her professional art to reach internationally to collectors and corporations. She currently heads up her home state art organization for daily painters. Amy is extraordinarily helpful in everything we have done together, and always ready to share and help others as they progress in their journey with art. Amy is a good leader and a great motivator. Sincerely, Laurie Pace, Graphics One Design” July 16, 2010
